To build awareness of the incredible variety of letterforms that exist in their environments, students spend the entire semester searching for letters and numbers. Each of the twenty-six letters and ten numbers must come from different sources. They select images based on form, color, typeface, material, etc., then assemble the collection, cropped as squares, in alpha-numerical order.
